On 27 December 2024, X Carbon proudly became a member of the Waste Management and Recycling Association of Singapore (WMRAS), marking a significant milestone in the company's commitment to sustainability and innovative waste management practices.

Established in 2001, WMRAS is Singapore's premier non-profit trade association for solid waste management. It aims to advocate best practices and facilitate the transfer of knowledge among industry players. WMRAS plays a crucial role in fostering collaborations among businesses, government agencies, and the community to promote a sustainable living environment.

WMRAS represents a wide range of stakeholders in the waste management ecosystem. Its membership spans waste collection, recycling, e-waste management, hazardous and biohazardous waste handling, as well as equipment and service providers. From small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to multinational corporations (MNCs), WMRAS serves as a unifying platform for advancing industry standards.

As Singapore's representative to the International Solid Waste Association (ISWA), WMRAS engages in global dialogues on waste management, sharing expertise and insights through international conferences and webinars. Furthermore, as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO), it provides Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) courses for frontline operations staff and curates professional development programs for waste management professionals.

By joining WMRAS, X Carbon aligns itself with a robust network of industry leaders and reaffirms its commitment to sustainable development. This membership not only allows X Carbon to contribute to the industry’s best practices but also enables the company to leverage global insights and expertise, furthering its mission to create innovative solutions for a greener future.
